Season 3 Summary & Plot

Autumn has fallen over the land, and winter is not far behind. King to be Renly Baratheon has been assassinated with the help of Melisandre, altering the statistics of the war. The young King Joffrey is victorious as he has forged an alliance with House Tyrell, as his supporters defeat Stannis. Now Joffrey holds the most extensive army in the realm and his victory seems unavoidable.

Robb Stark has no option but to realign with House Frey, with whom he had broken the marriage deal and caused great offense.

Stannis Baratheon is not done with and with the help of Melisandre can turn things around at any moment.

Theon Greyjoy must pay for his untoward actions at Winterfell. While on the eastern continent, Daenerys Targaryen has fled from Qarth. The dragons are growing and she is getting increasingly famous but to seize the Iron Throne she needed an army. She could probably find what she wanted in the infamous cities of Slaver’s Bay, but was there a price associated with it?

The White Walkers are making their moves beyond the Wall, posing a threat to both the Seven Kingdoms and the Wildlings. Jon Snow must invade Mance Rayder’s wildling army and discover the plans of the King beyond the Wall.
