Brian Cogman who happens to be the co-executive producer of the show and also is the writer of the last Sunday episode “Blood of My Blood” and have been one of the key producers who have had his parts of credits as one of the creators of Game Of Thrones 6. Episode 6 belongs to him and with the kind of writing he came up with has just brought happiness to the hearts of a lot of fans and as he sits to chat with Entertainment Weekly in an Interview, he brings his perspective over episodes essential parts that build up a great new story of a Nobel House which has been torn apart and season 6 is where they would rise as they come together to take hold of the ongoing story of the Westeros.

Game Of Thrones 6-Blood Of My Blood- Benjen Stark aka Coldhand

The show within its third episode gave us a Stark reunion that brought us great joy, just after Jon came to life and now he has a real purpose to fight. Not quite expected the last Sunday nights in Blood Of My Blood we came across one most of such Stark Reunion. As Meera struggled in pulling Bran into his sled and almost gave up and cry feeling hopeless, Bran tells Meera that they are going to die as the dead once are close and we as audience come on the edge of our seat to see this tragic death of these two just after we have seen Hodor death, but suddenly the scene completely changes as a stranger man come from nowhere only to rescue them and he comes out to be none other than Benjen Stark himself, Ned Starks brother and Bran uncle, episode been written by Cogman, according to him it was the correct time to bring him to the pictures,

The show is so sprawling and there are so many threads, but – at its heart – it’s largely about this good family that was torn apart. So seeing some of them connect again (Jon and Sansa; Benjen and Bran) was very satisfying to write and to shoot. It was great to have [actor] Joe Mawle back with us – it must have been a trip for him to step back into the character after so long – but he’s also decidedly not the Benjen of season 1. So that was fun to explore.

Later as the scene progress, we learn some mystical revelation to how Benjen Stark actually came to live even after the encounter with White Walker and resulting in his death. Speaking closely about last week episode 5 final but an epic emotional scene Cogman made a very practical and thematic statement as to how it actually becomes to intriguing and works up for everyone and in doing that he even mentions the fate of Hodor in the series of where he returns or will be gone forever.

For me, the cave sequence was largely about Bran’s protectors giving everything so that he could move on to the next phase of his journey. Meera survived, but hard sacrifices had to be made – Hodor, the Children, the Three-Eyed Raven… and, yes, very sadly, Summer. As for whether or not we’ll see Hodor again… As you know, I can’t comment on anything that may or may not happen in the future.

Further in the interview Cogman was asked more about a very unsettling relationship between Sam and his Father, Cersei agreement to Tommen’s decision to sent Jaime away to Riverrun, but when asked about the next week’s episode he teased up in saying that there was a week of shooting a particular sequence/storyline that was my favorite week on set in six seasons of Game of Thrones.

Hence, another epic sequence awaits in the upcoming Game Of Thrones Season 6 Episode 7 “The Broken Man” again is written by Brian Cogman himself and is scheduled to go on air on June 5th at 9 p.m. ET & 10 p.m. PT only on HBO Networks.
