Lately a lot of talks have been going on around about the shows futures by the producers and the showrunner, also the status over the spans of Game Of Thrones the series was discussed earlier this month. Which was answered by the writer-producer duo, Den Weiss, and David Benioff that the show is now moving towards its end and we are very close to bringing the show to a proper closure? Well, the confirmation for the Game Of Thrones futures seasons confirmation has officially been made by the channel HBO as now they have already renewed Game Of Thrones for the next 2017.

Game Of Thrones Renewed For Season 7

Now as we all are much aware from the recent debate over the final two seasons to get shorter than the present once, which means season 7 is like to have just 7 episodes and the final season to bring the series to end, will conclude with just 6 episodes in whole. But the point we are making here is that normally the channel would announce such a news, once after the show has begun, but this time, they have announced it prior to the shows release and they don’t even say that they have renewed the show for season 7 instead just that the show has been renewed for the year 2017.

Two more premiering show alongside Game Of Thrones 6 will make their way on April 24th, 2016 on Sunday, which is the Veep & Silicon Valley, also have been renewed for the next year. Into their official statement they mention stating that:

The three shows set to return for new seasons on Sunday, April 24, HBO has renewed GAME OF THRONES, SILICON VALLEY and VEEP for 2017, announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming.

The Emmy®-winning GAME OF THRONES begins with its ten-episode sixth season Sunday, April 24 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT). Based on the George R.R. Martin fantasy Novel series, a story that chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent kingdom. The appearing main cast includes Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Aidan Gillen, Diana Rigg, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Jonathan Pryce.

So now that it is confirmed the excitement and expectation for the show remain real high, though thinking about the show would come to an end in the next two year but we have at least got that much of thrill and drama still to come out of Game Of Thrones.
