After the release of the Hall of Faces teaser and behind the scene footage, a recent video has been released. Ser Barriston Selmy has narrated Robert’s Rebellion in an animated way. It basically showcases about the Many-Faced God. It also shows the War of the Usurper, Robert’s Rebellion very well narrated by Ser Barriston Selmy. I dont think the video will disappoint the audience. It is quite good to release such videos as it will create a buzz in the fans. Firstly let’s check out the video:

The story does not emphasize on Starks or the Baratheons as we have already seen it. This video is from the perspective of Ser Barriston Selmy and which means it is closely focused on the Targaryen’s. It feels great to hear the voice of Ser Barriston Selmy and how he felt as a failed Kingsguard. He is one of the greatest Kingsguard in the whole Westerosi history. He also feels like he has failed every king he served and also the one who was going to become the King. This video has everything, from a blunt glimpse at the War of the Ninepenny Kings and Maelys the Monstrous to a glimpse at the young Aerys Targaryen’s happy rule just before he went mad, plus a brisk glimpse at a young Varys around 3:45. Then comes the Attack at Harrenhal, and Westeros was again drawn into war.

The utter sadness in Barriston Selmy’s voice over witnessing Rhaegar die under Robert’s warhammer is sheer heartbreaking, and the hope in his voice at the chance of atonement in assuring Daenerys is really what will make the fans ecstatic. Ian McElhinney was indeed the perfect choice for Barriston Selmy. It is very sad to say that Game of Thrones will not be the same without Barriston.

As the upcoming season of Game of Thrones is said to be more brutal and interesting, it is sure that it will increase its fan following this season. Buzz is created due to the Hall of Faces teaser and behind the scene footage and this video will surely add the excitement in the fans. Game of Thrones Season 6 will be premiered on 24th April at 9pm on HBO. For more updates stay tuned.
