According to fans, what will the Dead Characters do in ‘Winds of Winter’?

Jeyne, a character in the book does not appear on the show instead Talisa Maegyr is created to replace her. Martin recently told IGN the upcoming twist will involve a character who is no more alive on the show but will be there in the books. Commenters like Golladon and David H notified that, since Martin does not consider Jeyne and Talisa to be the same, she could not be considered.

This is surely an arguable thing because; Martin included a Jeyne/Talisa amalgam on his informal list of qualified applicants anyway. The idea of Jeyne be pregnant will surely rock the world of Westeros. It clearly means that Robb had a potential scion on the way.

Talisa Maegyr

The main twist that Martin has revealed 11 months ago is like this:

“It’s a great twist… this is something that seems very organic and natural, and I could see how would it happen. And with the various three, four characters involved… it all makes sense. But it’s nothing I’ve ever thought of before. And it’s nothing they can do in the show, because the show has already- on this particular character-made a couple of decisions that will prelude it, where in my case I have not made those decisions.”

Martin already told in the A Feast of Crows that Jeyne was not pregnant at all. If we consider it, Jeyne’s plot twist potential is limited. May he was misleading us; it is something he might had thought of long ago.

Stannis Baratheon

Stannis Baratheon was also a popular choice but I’m not so sure about it, for the same reasons as well. Here’s how Young Dragon exclaimed:

“I personally think Stannis’s story is finished. He is been presented as a false messiah, so those characters don’t normally have happy endings. Besides, from how it sounds, Martin just came up with the twist idea, shortly before season aired. If the twist has to do with the Pink Leter, would that mean he was intending to kill Stannis off, and then changes his mind?”

Once again, the plot twist is an idea that Martin came up with, at the earliest, just a year ago, when he had already has a good solid fling of The Winds of Winter written.  I really doubt Stannis’ downfall will play out exactly as it did on the show, but I think it will really come. David Benioff and David Weiss, Game of Thrones showrunners have accepted of changing some things from the books. To use the words of David H about Martin: “It seems very unlikely that he’d make a major change in the most important storylines so late in the game.”

So these are the things GoT fans have guessed. Let the book be released and then will get to know that are this assumptions right. Game of Thrones Season 6 will be premiered on 24th April at 9pm on HBO. For more updates stay tuned.
