A the core of the Game Of Thrones lineage, George R. R. Martins is going to remain the sole creator and the god of the series which got emerged from his book novel “A Song Of Ice and Fire” and so every single asset, element of the world of Westeros belongs to him. Taking the liberty he could pull any string he wants to change the plots line as he wishes to narrate and so far the five-part book novel gave us a great ride for the onscreen television series viewers till Season 5, but beyond this the showrunner, writer/producer has to move on with their independent storyline as the series took great speed in its onscreen narration and came to catch up with the story which has been told so far by Martins. But as the showrunner moved ahead, a lot of things in the show has been having credits of Martins suggestion of few major twists that we came across.

Game Of Thrones Season 6 David Benioff & Dan Weiss EW Interview

The showrunner David Benioff and D. B. Weiss by season 4 knew that they are going to catch up with the storyline of the book and may even pass forward by the time they end season 5 and would have to carry on independently for season 6 and thus they met Martins 2 years back in Santa Fe and discussed the storyline of how they intend to carry on and that is where he revealed three of his major plot and the twist in them to the writer/producer.

  • First, one being the season 5 Stannis Baratheon sacrificing Shireen by burning her alive just to seek victory in the upcoming battle.

  • Second about Hodor’s origin about the past he had, we saw in the last Sunday’s episode “The Door”

And then the third one “Is from the very end…” said Benioff in an Interview with Entertainment Weekly. Followed in the interview were the conversation which brought into focus the worries and insecurity most of the Book series followers have with the show which would result in spoiling the books narrative as they have already moved on their own with season 6 and assuring about not all of the content is be same and the show defiantly diverge largely from the book the showrunner said…

“People are talking about whether the books are going to be spoiled – and it’s really not true,” said Benioff. “So much of what we’re doing diverges from the books at this point. And while there are certain key elements that will be the same, we’re not going to talk so much about that – and I don’t think George is either. People are going to be very surprised when they read the books after the show. They’re quite divergent in so many respects for the remainder of the show.”

So you see it is not going to be that close and definitely has a whole different path the show has carried on too, but the conclusion of this whole conversation was majorly about the suspense that the showrunner has left us with. Now that the first two twists has made it to the show and the third yet to be exposed in the series, which according to them is going to be the final one and hence it certainly will be used to conclude the show which the showrunner has been planning on to, by concluding the show with just two more season.

Well any which way it goes, the one thing that the show promises us is great story line, enigmatic visuals, spectacular location and structure and some of the most exciting twists and turns which will prove to be evidential in the next Game Of Thrones Season 6 Episode 6 “Blood of My Blood”, the coming Sunday only on HBO Network at 9 p.m. ET & 10 p.m. PT sharp.
