The biological father of all the three children is Jaime Lannister, her mother’s twin brother, and a member of the Kingsguard. Game Of Thrones Season 2 Myrcella at Joffrey's Nameday

Myrcella joins for dinner brother Tommen, her mother Cersei and Sansa Stark. Myrcella immaturedly resorts to small talk with Sansa, asking her when would she marry Joffrey, to which Cersei replies that it would only be after the war ended. Myrcella admits that she is excited about the new clothes that she would be wearing to the wedding. In a very friendly manner she points out that Sansa would be wearing an ivory gown.

In order to enhance House Lannister’s political position during the War of the Five Kings, Hand of the King Tyrion Lannister plans to cultivate a marraige alliance with House Martell of Dorne by having Myrcella married off to Trystane Martell, the youngest child of the active ruler of Dorne. Due to the newly developed relationship House Martell would hopefully supply soldiers to the Lannister contingent, or atleast would not join their enemies. The proper marraige ceremony would wait until Myrcella is old enough, but as of now she would be sent to Dorne to live in Trystane’s house. Grand Maester Pycelle gives this news to Queen Cersei who is very enraged and declares that she would not let her daughter be shipped off to Dorne like she was shipped off to Robert Baratheon. Tyrion defends himself by saying that a princess is born to forge an alliance and that Myrcella would be safer in Dorne than in the capital city during the outbreak of a major civil war. Despite Cersei’s agitations Tyrion says everything is finalised and it is inevitable.

A tearful Myrcella departs King’s Landing in a ship bound for Sunspear, cohabitated by Septa Eglantine and Ser Arys Oakheart of the Kingsguard. She is given a royal farewell by a formal procession inclusive of King Joffrey, Prince Tommen, Queen Cersei, Acting Hand of The King Tyrion Lannister, and Sansa Stark accompanied by prayers for her safe journey by the High Septon.

Myrcella is overwhelmed to see her uncle Jaime Lannister after he and Bron manage to locate her as she and Trystane are kissing each other in the garden. She is distressed as Bran knocks off Trystane and Jaime forces her to go with him. As the Sand Snakes make a sudden ambush in order to apprehend Jaime, Myrcella is nearly kidnapped by Nymeria Sand, but the conflict dies down after Areo Hotah appears on the scene with a dozen Dornish guards who imprison Jaime, Bronn and the Sand Snakes.

When Myrcella visits Jaime in custody he tells her that the situation has grown sour and he needs to take her back to King’s Landing. Myrcella affirms that Dorne is her home now and she will continue to stay there and eventually marry Trystane.

In the meeting between the Martells and Jaime Myrcella is seated next to Trystane. Jaime informs her that her brother Tommen wants her back in the capital, but she shows loyalty to Dorne and agrees only when Doran calls for the engagement to continue and that he would join her in the capital, to which Jaime also agrees.

Later Ellaria visits Jaime and reveals that she is aware of the fact that Myrcella is in reality his daughter, born of incest with Cersei. In a very apologetic manner Ellaria confesses that she agrees to the fact that Myrcella is innocent and that she is not connected to Oberyn’s murder.Game of thrones - Myrcella dies
