Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a Danish actor born in the year 1970 on 27 July in Rudkøbing, Denmark and is also a screenwriter along with producer on some of his and others projects. Grew up in Tybjerg a village in southern Zealand and educated in The Danish National School of Theatre and Contemporary Dance and there he began with his acting work, later appearing on screen in series and films like New Amsterdam, Virtuality, and popularly known for playing the role of Jaime Lannister in the series Game Of Thrones.

After completing his studies at the Danish National School the very first role he played on stage was Laertes in the play Hamlet at the Betty Nansen Theatre and in the year 1994 made his onscreen debut with the films Nightwatch, after which the fame of this films gave him chance to star in many other films but the films that bough him to a higher frame of American Industry was when he starred in Ridley Scott’s films Black Hawk Down as Gary Gordon and again worked with the director in his another popular film Kingdom of Heaven in 2005. Later he also starred in Richard Loncraine, two films, during the earlier year in Wimbledon (2004) and again two years later in Firewall in 2006. Then was New Amsterdam a Fox Tv Drama Series which bought some different shades out of him as an actor and this portrayal of him in the series as an immortal detective who is In search of his true love so to get mortal and that provided him recognition along with his Screen Actors Guild Card.

But the one show which made him popular all over the world was through the 2011 HBO’s Televisions Drama Series Game Of Thrones based on George R. R. Martin’s Book Series “A Song Of Ice and Fire” for playing a complex role of a knight Jaime Lannister who also happened to be in an absurd relationship with her own sister Cersei Lannister. And it was that same year when a well-known entertainment website listed him on their list of “TV’s Sexiest Men Of 2011” and was at the #85 ranking slot. Following these years he went on to star in films such as Mama in 2003 which is a horror flick, then was Oblivion a sci-fi action thriller and is also conformed to star in an upcoming prison film “Shot Caller” by Roman Waugh.
