Indira Varma is an English Actress born in Bath, Somerset, England on 14 May 1973 popularly known for playing role in Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love a sensual film and its Indian cultural background on sexuality, Bride and Prejudice 2004 another film cantered around Indian culture, family and its customs, recently starred in a mega budget epic film Exodus: Gods and Kings in 2014 apart from these she has also been famous for her television appearances in series such as The Canterbury Tales, Rome, Human Target, Hunted and Game Of Thrones.

Biography Of Indira Varma

Varma was born to an Indian father and Swiss mother and has studied theatre later she grew after studying Musical Youth Theatre Company she graduated from RADA, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in the year 1995. She throughout her carrier has done major number of differ role in many genres of the films and because she is partly Indian and English, she received role of an Indian girls in films such as Kama Sutra in 1997, Bride and Prejudice in 2004, Jinnah a 1998 film in which she portrayed the role of Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s wife and was a biographical film in him. Later she was also starred in the one off the famous HBO series which was also associated with the BBC in this Drama Series “Rome”. In the year 2008 she guest appeared in the acclaimed and hit detective drama series Bones as Cate Pritchard and then was the role of Zoe Luther in the latest 2010 series Luther which bought him a great acclimation and hence was later got casted in HBO’s popular drama series Game Of Thrones in the year 2014, continued to be part of it in season 5 and 6 in the role of Ellaria Sand a lover to an important character Oberyn Martell which ultimately makes her one of the important characters.
