Gwendoline Christie born in Worthing, West Sussex, England on 28 October 1978 is an English actor and is also happen to be a Known Model, famously known for appearing on screens in HBO’s epic fantasy drama series Game Of Thrones in the role of Brienne of Tarth and also for voicing the character of Lexi in Wizards vs Aliens, a British science fantasy drama series on CBBC and is also going to appear in some major roles in films such as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Biography of Gwendoline Christie

In her initial days Gwendoline was much passionate about Gymnastic and trained herself as a gymnast and would have continued in the same because she wanted to have a carrier in it but because of her spine injury she no more was capable to continue and so switched to acting as she also had a bit interest in it and thus in the year 2005 she got into Drama Centre London, after which graduating from there she appeared in some of the theatre production and later went on to play a character of Queen in Shakespeare’s one of the famous work, Cymbeline, later also got part in Breakfast at Tiffany’s as Mag Wildwood and got noted appreciation in 2010’s play Doctor Faustus. On screens she has worked with some remarkable actors and filmmakers, in some remarkable films as well, such as she has appeared in two films of Terry Gilliam first in the year 2009 in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and next in the year 2013 in The Zero Theorem in which playing the lead role was Christoph Waltz.

Her television work includes the 2012 BBC Documentary series Seven Ages of Britain and gave her voice to the character Lexi in the 2012 CBBC Networks series Wizards vs Aliens. But the noted and appreciated work of her comes alive on screens with the character Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s popular television series Game Of Thrones which say her very first playing the role was in the third episode of its second season and from there on her character plays one of the major part in the series. Gwendoline will soon be seen in the two mega budget film series in important roles such as Commander Lyme in 2015’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2 and in 2016’s Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. For the series Game Of Thrones she has been nominated for Saturn Awards in 2013 and Screen Actors Guild Awards in both 2013 & 2014 for best Supporting actor and Outstanding Performance.
